Cooperation with Schrack in Austria and eastern Europe

Neunkirchen, 26th March 2019. As of now, SCHÄFER IT-Systems, the German specialist for IT infrastructure, will be cooperating with Schrack Technik GmbH, one of the leading distribution companies for electro-technical components in Austria. This partnership will enable SCHÄFER IT-Systems to expand its sales operations into Austria as well as into eastern European nations, like Poland, Russia, Slovakia, the Czeck republic and the Ukraine. For the first time, this presents Schrack with the opportunity to extend its product portfolio with iQdata brand data centre solutions.

Schrack Technik is one of Austria’s leading companies for sales of electrical engineering technology for the energy, industry, buildings, plant, network technology, cabling and lighting sectors. In addition, these experts also advise planners, investors and end customers on their specific projects. Throughout the company’s almost 100-year history, Schrack has constantly expanded its product portfolio. With the range available from SCHÄFER IT-Systems, in particular their iQdata brand, the Austrians are now adding intelligent data centre solutions to their portfolio for the first time.

Besides rack solutions, the data centre brand iQdata also includes cooling, power, monitoring, security and service components. SCHÄFER IT-Systems can thus supply complete solutions for energy-efficient data centres from a single source. And they don’t only have classical IT equipment on offer. Their iQdata Service segment also provides extensive energy efficiency analyses. Customers’ data centre environments, for instance, are simulated in an in-house test laboratory and actions plans compiled for optimizing cooling, power supply and other key parameters relevant to data centre performance.
