With the InRack DLC systems, SCHÄFER IT-Systems offers the solution for secure, energy-saving and water-cooled IT components. Water-cooled systems are not only used in large data centres, but also for “island solutions” in high-performance computing or in the edge area.

InRack DLC systems – economical and versatile

Direct liquid cooling (abbreviated as "DLC") solutions are liquidcooled systems and offer significantly higher effectiveness and efficiency compared to air. With the 19" InRack DLC systems Standard (50 kW) and Extreme (150 kW), SCHÄFER IT-Systems provides an extremely powerful and energy-saving cooling system. A compact high-performance plate heat exchanger separates the primary cold water network from the cooling circuit. An external control valve controls the cold water supply temperature of the secondary server circuit. The integrated monitoring system continuously monitors all relevant parameters. The temperature in the server circuit, which is always above the dew point temperature, can be flexibly adjusted to prevent condensation forming on the IT components; insulation is therefore not necessary. In addition, pressure monitoring ensures effective protection against possible leaks. All InRack DLC solutions can be installed or retrofitted in 19" cabinet solutions.
